ARCHON 21 Science Fiction/Fantasy Web Page Contest

We're trying this as an experiment this year; if it's successful, we'll probably run the contest again next year.

The basic idea is to judge science fiction/fantasy-related personal web pages. Almost anything goes (remember that children will be looking at your pages, too), as long as the primary content is related in some way to science fiction and/or fantasy. Judging will be subjective and based on any criteria each voter wants to use - best use of graphics, coolest page, best SF/fantasy content, or whatever.

There will be a prize for the page judged "best" by the web audience. Anyone (including entrants) may vote, may vote for more than one entry on each ballot, and may vote more than once; only the last ballot received from each voter will be counted, however. Previous voters will be notified by email when new pages are added to the list of contestants. Voters will also be eligible for a prize; each voters name will be entered in a random drawing (voters do NOT have to be convention members).

There are only a few rules:

It is suggested, but not required, that contestants place a link to the Archon 21 home page somewhere on their page(s). You can copy the link and graphic below, or make up your own.

Archon Science Fiction Convention

Voting will take place from the time the first contestant is listed on the balloting page until midnight, September 30, 1997. The winner will be announced at the convention, probably during the Saturday brunch, after we have verified convention membership.
